About Sarah

I've been a certified teacher for over a decade, and I've always felt a strong calling to help children learn and grow. After having my son, I decided to become a childcare provider so that I could continue to make a positive impact on children's lives while also maintaining a close connection with my own son. I believe that every child deserves a safe and nurturing environment in which to learn and explore. I strive to provide such an environment for the children in my care. I am patient, calm, and have a natural ability to connect with children. I am also very comfortable enforcing household rules and communicating with parents about their child's day or any issues that arise. In my free time, I enjoy playing outdoor sports and physical games with children. I also love playing educational games that promote learning. I have a background in the Reggio Emilia approach and use that to inform many of the activities that I use with young children.
