Hello! My name is Sarah and I have been in the childcare field for eight years now. My experience with children who have special needs is a bit more personal, I have two lovely cousins who have down syndrome. One of my cousins also has autism along with down syndrome, and I care for her a lot. Growing up I have always helped out and assisted with her everyday needs. I was paraprofessional in a special education pre-k classroom and I am now in school full time working towards my degree in ABA. I now work with children who have behavioral challenges and mental health challenges. I am passionate about my career and I look forward to working with families this current school year.
