This is Sarah's reply to my posting: I used to work as a behavioral technician at a childhood pediatric clinic. I have 3 autistic nephews whom I love. I am a patient social worker, and in my masters program graduating in may 2025. She worked less than a month with my daughter with autism. She has missed her last 2 shifts--today she said she was sick (again) AND she was quitting without notice! She TEXTED me and said she would "mail back the key to the house." Then she said I needed someone with "experience" with autism. (Blaming my daughter.) As you can see, she said SHE had experience. She is unwilling to be trained--and she doesn't have the understanding of the predicament she creates by quitting the day she is supposed to be at work. I tried calling her--she didn't answer her phone. She says this causes HER "anxiety." She doesn't seem to have an understanding of caregiving.
