About Sarah

Hi! I've worked as a tutor, teacher, and coach since I was a student myself. I grew up in a house with two teacher parents, and as a result am a big believer in curiosity, exploration, and education. I want to help students connect with what they're learning, and to use the things they are already passionate about and interested in to reach their academic goals. I believe in helping students find their own way to the answers, and supporting them in finding their confidence. I've been working most recently as an English as a Second Language instructor, and as an after school program director with Science of Sport, an organization which looks to teach STEM through sports! I've also spent the last few summers leading a writing workshop up at Stanford University.
