Hi, I'm Sarah, and I'm excited to offer my nurturing and professional childcare services to families in the Ellsworth / Hancock County area. A little about me: I grew up in beautiful Vermont with a deep love for the outdoors. A few years ago, I made the move to Maine and instantly fell in love with the area and its close-knit community. I find great joy in exploring the outdoors with children, encouraging their curiosity and appreciation for nature. Ideally, I am looking for three days a week to commit to, although I am flexible and can accommodate up to five days for the right fit and depending on your family's needs. My qualifications include working in licensed preschool and afterschool programs as both a teacher and a director, in addition to my experience as a private nanny. I hold an associate's degree in early childhood education and maintain CPR/first aid certification to ensure your child's safety at all times.

Sarah was our son's preschool teacher for the past two years, and has been nannying for both of our kids (ages 5yrs and 2yrs) since this spring. She's a dream come true: kind, caring, intelligent, patient, and super fun and adventurous when it comes to thinking up activities for our busy kiddos. She responds to their big feelings with a grounded and calm presence that lets them know that they are safe to express what they are feeling, and redirects them quickly and effectively when they need it. We are all better because Sarah has been in our lives, she is a gift!
