About Sarah

Family and school relationships are altogether critical this season. I'm considering options to help another family (or two) as I think about what education looks like presently. I like forming supportive connections to help kids identify and use their strengths to tackle challenges. School experience and life experience as a parent informs my concerned and resourceful perspective. I value advocacy for the whole child, including social emotional health and coping skills. I promote literacy with access to lots of books, geared to child interest and background. I see organization and task management as helpful to managing work initiation and completion. It's even better if the kids enjoy it as purposeful investigation, rather than work! Flexibility and patience are fundamental for me.
