I'm 38yrs old, I love animals. I had 3 dogs, a few cats and rabbits throughout my childhood. As a young teen I volunteered at a local no kill animal shelter, in Illinois, where I mostly cleaned and walked the dogs. As a young-adult I had animals on a friend's farm that I took care of; there were pigs, cows, goats, chickens, rabbits and cats, also wild geese that nested there we would feed whilst they sat.. The larger animals I was more of an assistant. I currently have 2 dogs. Marley, 10 and Murphy, 12. I adopted then in 2015. I used to take them for miles long walks but now we play fetch in the backyard. Murphy now has daily medication and Marley has a special diet for his sensitive stomach. Summer '24 I spent in the UK, pet-sitting whilst I explored. I sat for 5 families anywhere from a 5 days to 4. 5 weeks. 3 single dogs and 2 pet siblings. They ranged in age from 1. 5 to 14years old. Some needed medication, while others just needed company. All these families would invite me back.
