About Sarah

I like working with kids because I enjoy fostering emotional, cognitive, social and physical growth. Working with kids allows me to be authentic and caring. I am outgoing, determined, mindful and positive! I have been in childcare since middle school. I was a secondary caregiver to my niece and nephew since their birth. I volunteered at a local church in infant care for 5 years, babysat throughout high school, worked in childcare at family camps for 4 summers, I have been teaching dance for children for 10 years. I have been a personal nanny for 3 years. In my spare time, I like to spend time with my partner, cats and friends. I love to hike, camp, dance, and do yoga. I am passionate about going back to school and training to be an ASL interpreter. One thing you should know about me is that I am a great communicator, with a strong moral compass and enjoy caring for others. I am a political activist for anti-racism, immigration, disability and lgbtqia+/trans rights.
