About Sarah

Hey there, I'm Sarah. I am a childcare professional with over 10 years of experience working with children from birth to teens through babysitting, teaching at child development centers and nannying abroad. I am a Certified Nurse Assistant and currently work at Sentara Leigh Hospital as a Nursing Care Partner. I plan to work at CHKD eventually. Working with children is my greatest passion and I work hard to continuously research and educate myself on learning wholesome and beneficial ways to interact with children of all backgrounds and demeanors. I enjoy outdoor play and focus a lot of my teaching around manners, learning new skills both mentally and physically, emotional regulation, validation, and anything I believe will cultivate a positive sense of self in the child. My primary goal is to keep them safe and prepare them to become kind, motivated and happy humans. I'm looking for a part-time position that I can provide care in my home, preferably.
