I believe children learn best through play and exploration. I have a 3-year-old son, and outside time is a huge part of our day. I have 5 years of experience working as a teacher and a degree in child development. I am interested in matching with a family looking for private homeschool-style care of their toddler to join my son and me in our home during the day. I have a reliable vehicle, though we prefer to travel by bicycle (with trailer) or on foot when possible. Open to full-time or part-time. I am vaccinated. What you can expect from a typical week (included): - Children's Museum 1-2 a week - Park and/or gardens 1 x week - Park exploration (including playgrounds) 3-4 x week - Trips to the zoo and aquarium for enrichment - Weekly picnics with scavenger hunts - Themed crafts for fun and development - Biweekly library trips - Daily reading time and frequent singing/dancing
