About Sara

I have worked with a wide range of ages, from 6-month-olds to high schoolers. I have an Education Degree, plus Montessori Assistant Training for 0-3 and 3-6yrs, as well as the Maryland 90 hour Lead Preschool Training. A strong Liberal Arts base allows me to discuss a wide variety of subjects with children. I focus on reading, crafts & outdoor activities with children. I grew up on a farm, & can help with animal care as well. (Pets & farm animals) I have current Infant CPR Training. In the past I have been a Wilderness First Responder & active in Search & Rescue (desert mountain). I have raised twins myself, & welcome multiples. I have traveled occasionally with a Nursing Mother who needed to travel for work.

Sara helped us while we were in between care and our sitter had to suddenly leave. She was a wonderful sitter for our active 2 year old and I was very impressed by her patience, creativeness and her love of outdoors. She is very knowledgeable on stages of child development, and a great outdoor playmate. Both my husband and I work from home and were able to observe how she interacted, and I would absolutely hire her again!
