Hello, my name is Sara! Caring for special needs children has always been a huge part of my life. Currently I work as a special education paraprofessional, and since my school of employment has switched to remote learning and is also about to release for summer break, I am looking for more work. My responsibilities as a special education paraprofessional include providing academic accommodations to children with individualized education programs (IEPs) as well as monitoring the safety of students with physical disabilities and various medical conditions. I have past experience volunteering in the field of hippo therapy for special needs children, have volunteered and shadowed in elementary school special needs classrooms. I also worked as a nanny to 3 regular-ed children before becoming a certified paraprofessional. Nannying and providing companion and safety care has a special place in my heart, and I would love to have that type of work in my life again. Available any time!
