In addition to 15 years of night care and babysitting experience, I hold 10 years of full time (40+ hours) of nannying experience. I also, taught 1 year, as an assistant to pre-K. I am opening my home as a in home family childcare, to two special families. Why? To increase the social element of play, which greatly impacts a child's people skills later in life. Being a former Preschool assistant, my emphasis is on learning, by a "hands the approach", while utilizing outdoor play in nature. The biggest factor, I see impacting children today, is their access to screens. The first 2 years, as most moms know, are the MOST impressionable. A screen, is not a babysitter.
