Over the last few years I have cared for almost two dozen clients with diagnoses ranging from Parkinson's to cancer to strokes to Alzheimer's. I cared for my in-laws full time for 5 years until they passed away at home. She had Alzheimer's and he had many physical ailments. I did medication management (including diabetes), household chores, meal prep, companion care, bathing, grooming, toileting and managed the entire care giving team providing 24/7 care. I wrote a caregiving manual we used for the team, as well as compiled various logs that we used to track everything from diet to meds to bathroom trips. I continued my caregiving journey as I had learned so much that I want to help other families walking the caregiving road. Prior to caregiving, I was in IT Training and Support for 17 years and was a home educating mom of two who have graduated. I am organized, dependable, caring and an excellent communicator. I am flexible about times I can work, days or overnights.
