I have been a companion/home health care provider for 19 years. It has been a great experience for me, showing the value I can make in someone's life. I have experience in Alzheimer/Dementia, changing catheters bags, manage medication, take to appts, do errands and most of all I provide tender loving care. I took care of my father with arthritis needing help with PT/OT therapy. I've assisted an elderly man for 2 years as he needed help with meals, medication, and doctor visits. I took care of a 52-year-old woman in a wheelchair for 18 months taking her in her van to varies appts., help dress, and other tasks as they came up. I took care of 78-year-old woman with dementia helping her bath, dress, prepared meals, walks, hairdresser, errands as needed. In a private facility after 2 years her companion. I worked for a woman in her 80's with breathing issues/ know how to do breathing treatments. Recently caregiver for severe memory loss woman, she 89 for over 2 years. Vaccinated 9/24.
