Having taken care of kids for most of my adult life, I can honestly say that being a nanny is the best job in the world, dirty diapers and all. (Pets are also amazing, so if your dog or cat or goldfish need love I'm your woman.) I've worked as a nanny for many wonderful families in Chicago and Vermont, and I'm experienced with cloth diapering, expressed milk feeding, baby wearing, and anything else baby. I've taken care of older children as well - I love spending time with kids, playing outside whenever possible, reading and singing to and with them, and doing crafts as they get older. Sandy and my almost 3 year old daughter are basically best friends, and started off that way as soon as they met. Sandy takes her out every day to explore the wilderness, doesn't tire of reading when she is in book mode and brings book after book to be read, and magically even got her to start napping every day. If my job wasn't suddenly put on an indefinite hold I would be begging her to stay with us!!
