I have been working in the school system for about 15 years. I have worked with children as young as 3 months to 55 yrs old adults, I have also worked with the Special needs population all with many different disabilities. I have experience with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Food Allergies, Mobility Challenge, Rhett Syndrome, Prader Willi and many other behaviors. I currently work for the Lakewood Board of Education as a 1:1 Para with the 6 to 10 years old. I have been doing babysitting for many years, some have been my past students and the others from Care. com. I was born and raised in Costa Rica so I also speak Spanish I'm certified in CPR/First Aid, I also have experience with EpiPen and Inhalers. My son had bad peanut and sea food allergies when he was younger, thank goodness he outgrew them. Due to my asthma I can't work in a household that has cats or non hypoallergenic dogs. Sandy has a great work ethic. She is punctual, dependable and goes above and beyond no matter what job she is doing. She is fantastic with children/teens that have behavioral issues and has a calming personality. She has many years of experience and gives a high level of care. Anyone would be lucky to have her be responsible for their loved one.
