Since 08/20/2016 I worked for my brother a veteran. He underwent brain surgery and could no longer be independent. So, I had been a caregiver since 2008, became my brothers' caregiver, from 08/16/2016 to 05/26/2024 when he recently passed away. I was his caregiver my job was to take him to his all of his appts. therapy. Give him his meds, asst. in dressing him. Preparing his meals and sometimes aiding him with his physical therapy exercises. Later his condition worsened and he became bedridden and my caregiving skills extended to more extensive care. He was my brother and of course I didn't skimp on any care I could give him. I also, had the aide of caregivers as well, to help with my brother because it reached that pinnacle. but, I do love to care and assist in the care of seniors or anyone that needs caregiving aide.
