About Sandra K.

Studying to take my RN licensing exam, I'd love to work with seniors in need of assistance. My past experience was working in free community clinics where I often worked with elders to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension and mobility issues. In nursing school, one of my clinical rotations was 144 hours at the Trinity LIFE center, a senior center focused on helping seniors with a variety of chronic health conditions to continue to live independently in the community. I consider seniors to be one of our most valuable resources who should be cared for with empathy, respect and regard as they are also one of our most vulnerable populations. I'm seeking a position where I can not only help with day-to-day care that I learned and practiced in nursing school, but assist seniors to achieve their health goals and continue to live their best lives.
