I have 25+ years of experience as a first grade teacher and am the mother of two young men(and a dog.) With a passion for fostering children's growth and development, I create a safe and nurturing environment where kids can flourish. My patience, creativity, and friendly demeanor make me a trusted and reliable choice for families seeking exceptional childcare. I prioritize open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to discuss their child's day and address any issues that arise. I enjoy a wide range of activities that engage children and promote learning. I'm more than happy to assist with cooking, meal preparation, carpooling, light housekeeping, and running errands. Since my retirement from public education, I have cared for several infants ranging in age from 3 months-13 months old.
