Hi my name is Sandra and I am a CA multiple subjects and single subject (Home Economics) credentialed teacher. I have lots of experience with tutoring and helping youth of various ages with their needs. I have tutored elementary to high school aged students. I have a now 15-year-old son and have taught him to read. I believe in hands-on learning and have a Reggio-Emilia approach to teaching. I worked often in my son's kindergarten classroom a many years ago and spent a lot of time running various learning centers from Life Lab... Reading groups, to math groups. I also volunteered in his elementary school classrooms helping with various activities such as reading/math groups when needed. I would be happy to meet with you and your student to see if we are a good match. I will be teaching once the school year starts in August but my schedule is flexible during the summer. I will have availability to meet up daily if needed. I look forward to meeting you!
