About Sandra

Childcare has been a large part of my career, spanning a total of 13 years. My childcare experience spans all ages - birth to teens, the latter being in a group home setting with teen moms. The experience with many children from different backgrounds has given me the capacity to understand and know how to adapt for each child's personality and his or her needs. People describe me as caring, thoughtful, and calm. Children bring me a lot of joy - seeing their faces light up when they see you, when they discover something new, the wonder they have for life. I find it energizing and fun being a part of their world. Speaking of which, I easily able to get to their level, see the world as they do and relate with them. At the same time, it is important to me they learn responsibility both in the home and in their actions.
