About Sanaya

Education is a passion of mine, more specifically mathematics education. I feel as though the perception of mathematics among students is all wrong simply because students are taught formula rather than concept. They are taught the hows of mathematics rather than the whys. Thus, students begin to hate mathematics from a young age. I want to change this. I want to encourage students to love education as much as I do and facilitate such efficient learning. I worked at an after school program for a while that required me to serve as a group leader/tutor. I have also tutored the children of friends and family for years. I am a peer leader at my college which requires me to facilitate study sessions and answer question about misconceptions as well. Among these things, I also have babysitting experience and I have 4 younger siblings. I can guarantee you that I know what it takes to make a child successful.
