Greetings, parents! My name is Samya and I attend Prairie View A&M University. I am a third year student here obtaining my Bachelors of Science in Health Science with a 4. 0 semester GPA. I am the first president at PVAMU of the School of Public & Allied Health. I also apart of The National Society of Black Women in Medicine. My favorite color is pink; I love to cook and listen to music! I enjoy arts and crafts and working with children. After obtaining my Bachelors degree, I want to teach children K-6th in CyFair ISD. In doing so, I will also being going for my Masters in Public Health. With this advantage, I can use my experience in educational settings to influence policies and programs that support children's health at local, state, and national levels. Working with children is truly my passion and their bubbly energy fills me with joy! Fun fact: I am taking a class called " Health for Elementary Children"
