For the past 7 years I have spent a considerable amount of time helping the geriatric community primarily those with Alzheimer's and Dementia as well as those in SNF where I worked with a greater range of individuals with issues ranging from hip surgeries, ms, to post radiation treatment patients. Recently I have begun working on an administrative level as well as on an occupational aide position with children with a whole host of different needs that has pushed me to learning more about the care of people at all ages. This as well as tools and exercises to use to partially assess progress or push someone to better themselves in social and physical settings has pushed me into expanding my care to provide care services to a greater range of individuals than I could have before and include new care methods to make the experience more enjoyable.
