About Samuel

As someone who has spent the past 5 years tutoring my brother, who has Autism, I have greatly appreciated the opportunity to help him, but also to learn about how to better understand the relationship between a learner and an educator. I have come to appreciate the power of listening, being willing to cater to the way a student learns, and about building a connection between the student I teach. What I find the greatest value and joy in comes from seeing students make strides in their education, since it not only reflects their ability to understand the work, but the ability of the teacher to communicate with them effectively.
