Hi! I'm Sam, a 23-year-old recent graduate of SUNY New Paltz. I have nine years of childcare experience working as an Arts & Crafts director at a summer program for blind visually impaired kids, ages 5-15. I've also completed an internship at a preschool where I worked with children, ages 2-5, with identified special needs, and a one-semester internship working with teens and pre-teens at a local community center. I have nannying experience with a family of three where I was responsible for helping with remote learning, so online school is no problem for me! I enjoy hiking, arts and crafts projects, and pretend play, and am able assist in meal prep and housekeeping along with child care. I aim to teach empathy and independence, and am adaptable, attentive, and creative. I've also received my first dose of the COVID vaccine and have my second dose scheduled for March.
