About Sammie

Hello, I'm a semi-retired HS teacher who absolutely loves dogs. I am conscientious, kind, responsible and detail orientated. I have owned or co-owned numerous dogs throughout my life including German Sheppards to chihuahuas. I also volunteer at the Animal Shelter of Greater Portland as a canine walker. I'm looking to walk, sit with or overnight for select dog owners and their awesome pups in the Cape Elizabeth/Portland area. I am just getting started but can provide personal references. I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your dog(s). Sammie I'd describe my personality as kind, considerate, creative and energetic. I like working with dogs because I adore everything about dogs! Love them all! I've been a primary caregiver to dogs since I was very little (horses too!) My skills include playing with, walking and generally caring for dogs. I'm learning about canine behavior, and training.
