About Sameena

Hello! My name is Sameena and I graduated Purdue University with my degree in animal sciences with a pre-vet concentration. My plethora of experiences at different facilities has allowed me to gain an extensive knowledge base surrounding a multitude of various animal species. For 4 years, I familiarized myself with numerous livestock species in Indiana. For another few months, I worked as an apprentice under the reptile, amphibian, and an arthropod string at the Oakland Zoo. I worked at WCSV for a few months where I was responsible for the care of multiple wildlife species ranging from red-tailed hawks to coyotes to possums. For 1 year, I worked at a vet clinic where I was able to familiarize myself with the countless variable personalities of different dogs and cats. Additionally, I have owned and cared for a multitude of my own pets throughout my life including cats, dogs, horses, chickens, ducks, fish and turtles. I am an avid equestrian after all!
