About Samantha

I am an educational specialist who has 9 years experience working with students with learning differences such as Dyslexia, ADHD and Autism. I hold a Masters of Educational Psychology from CSU - Northridge. I specialize in reading remediation and early start reading however, I have offered continuous support to families by providing homework support in all subjects including math up to calculus. I began working with children and teens as a juvenile detention officer in the state of Idaho. When I moved to LA in 2015, I shifted my career toward education. I began as a substitute teacher and worked in special education classrooms as a long term sub. This is where I fell in love with reading intervention and helping children learn to read. I obtained a job as an academic interventionist at a niche school for learning differences, went to grad school to learn more, and have worked with over 50 beautiful families and their teachers ever since!
