About Samantha

I am currently going to school for my B. A. in Biology to become a high school science teacher. I already have my A. S. of Arts, and I will complete my A. S. of Science in May 2021. I'v been very passionate about science since I was a kid, and I always thought I'd grow up to become a Nurse but sometimes things change. I enlisted in the U. S. Navy right out of high school, and loved every moment of it, but when I started my family I knew being away from then would be too much. I finished my contract in July of 2018 and have been a full-time student and mom since. I started out as a Nursing major but seeing how fun it was to share the science I was learning with my boys I decided to change my path. Teaching Science is something I've become more passionate about than I could have ever imagined, and I can't wait to begin my journey teaching full-time!
