About Samantha

I am a current LAUSD educator on my third year of teaching. This year I have 192 high school students. I graduated from UCLA in 2023 with my Masters in Education and my BCLAD certification. I also graduated from UCLA in 2019 with a Bachelors in History + a Minor in Classical Civilizations. While my teaching experience consists supporting mostly 10th and 12th graders, I also have a wide range of experience working with younger children. I have worked in a Child Care facility, taking care of young children, ages 1- 5. I have volunteered at Ability First and cared for kids with disabilities. In both job experiences, my main tasks included preparing snacks, engaging in play time, facilitating arts and crafts, reading time, and some light clerical work. In 2021, I was a Summer Instructor for Galileo Learning Summer Camp in Santa Monica and facilitated engaging STEM activities for kids ages 6-10. I also have CPR knowledge and am willing to follow any routines or instructions you provide.
