About Samantha

Hello! My name is Sammy, I'm a previous Pre-k Teacher with 10 years of experience in early childhood education. I started working at a Montessori school for 8 years. I have 2 years of experience at a Reggio Emilia/Outdoor school and have worked with children of all ages. I enjoy and have the most experience with 3-5-year-olds. I am comfortable and confident planning curriculum, giving lessons, and facilitating and supervising activities specifically for pre-k children. I am passionate about working with children and creating a fun, safe, and caring environment for them to grow. I can assist with meals, clean up, documenting progress, diapering/toilet training, hand washing, nap time, etc. I can assist with school curriculum as well as help them progress developmentally. I understand the importance of family relationships and make it a top priority to create a trusting relationship with the children and the families. I also have an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education. :)
