About Samantha

My experience with caring for seniors is a lot. My great grandmother live with my for about 3 and a half to 4 years. After a year of living with me, she stated to go down hill. Id come home from school or work and find her on the floor due to her falling. Id find out the that aid that was hired to come help her out, was never showing. So about a year and half into her living with me, I did everything for her. I cleaned her room, I showered her, changed her bedding, took her to every doctors appointment and did her food shopping for her. Even when it was time to but her in a nursing home, I still did everything for her. She told me that she only trusted me. I also worked in a nursing home as an Activities Assistant. I did just do activities, I helped with feeding and putting things in there rooms. In the AL area Id help get everything they needed for me. Drinks and snacks and helping them out when it come time for there medication.
