About Samantha

Hi, I'm Samantha! I'm a professional nanny, drawn to this field because of my love of children and nontraditional forms of learning. As a child I went to school in an outdoor setting, and I know the importance of teaching children in unique ways that embrace their individuality. I have seven years of experience, a BA in Sociology with focus on child development, and an MA in Environmental Conservation Education, focused on teaching in nontraditional settings. Eventually I will become a child psychologist and integrate all of these disciplines and experience into a specialized way of caring for children. In light of the pandemic, creativity and activity is crucial in keeping children engaged in learning. I am active, fun, adapt to different children and households, and highly compliant with all covid prevention recommendations. I look forward to speaking with you!
