About Samantha

Hi there! I graduated cumlaude from Baylor University in 2014 with my BA in Psychology. I also hold a Masters of Science in Social Work from the University of Texas at Austin. I have experience tutoring students I met through care. com, both of which were in high school. I worked approximately for one year with each student during their senior year. Not only did we focus on subject content, but also college preparation. Throughout my college years, I tutored fellow students in classes I had taken and passed with flying colors. Several of my professors would recommend me to students they knew were struggling. Going much further back to my high school years, I also tutored elementary aged children. So, I am comfortable tutoring students K-12 as well. The subjects I am comfortable with tutoring is history, English (including reading, spelling, writing), science, computer skills, and social science courses (i. e. psychology, sociology).
