About Samantha

I'm 25 years old and I'm working on my Master's Degree in Social Work, so I can work with children more in-depth on a clinical level. I'm currently employed at a local preschool, working with children in the 3-5 year range. Previously, I have worked in direct care, case planning and therapeutic counseling. In these positions, I worked with children ranging from infants to teenagers. I have completed therapeutic crisis intervention training and safety training. This training gave me education on keeping situations calm and keeping children safe. I also have a clear CBC status through New York State. I have worked with children of all ages since the 7th grade when I completed a certified baby sitting training course. I also have experience working with children who have mental health concerns, ADHD and autism. I truly enjoy working with children and enjoy using my creative abilities to help children learn, grow and develop along the way!
