As a fourth year Special Education teacher and a caregiver with over a decade of experience, I'm passionate about nurturing the growth and development of children. My calm and creative nature allows me to easily connect with kids and make them feel safe and comfortable. I always put the well-being of children first, and I am dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment for them to thrive. I believe in transparency and regular updates. I'm very comfortable enforcing household rules while maintaining a positive and supportive atmosphere, and I am happy to facilitate open communication. I have a BA from the University at Buffalo in Psychology and Counseling, and I am three credits shy of my MSEd in Adolescent Special Education from Hunter College (degree completion expected Spring 2025). I am well-versed in developmental disabilities, learning disabilities, and social/emotional behavioral needs. I am also an animal lover, and have a deaf corgi/pitty mix of my own!

Samantha is simply amazing with my kids. They were both happy with her from the start. She always puts together really fun activities and keeps them entertained the whole time they are with her. She is also a great cook and they enjoy everything she makes! We are so grateful for her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a fantastic caregiver for their family.
