Hi, I'm Sam! Background in Nursing, Retail Mngmt, Child Care, Art instruction (age 2-10), Graphic Design, Housecleaning, & Baking. Giving me experience managing children, my schedule, multitasking, first aid, & overall safety/care. As an artist/baker/maker - I love to cook/bake/craft! I know these past fields may seem random, but I believe my experiences converged to make me the ultimate nanny! I've since worked as a Nanny FT for the past 1. 5yrs (age 0-14) & truly loved every moment. My recent family working w/ an epileptic, non verbal 4 yo (possibly on Autism spectrum) made me realize what I want to do w/ my life. Assisting w/ speech therapy, teaching baby sign language, stimulating her mind, helping her grow through learning & play, seeing the progress made has been the most rewarding/fulfilling time of my life. I don't have extensive experience in special needs but the children I'v worked w/ have left lasting impressions & I know we'v made immense progress during our time together.
