I have been a caregiver for individuals from newborns to 102, for the past 11 years. I have spent much time with children with special needs and have been trained to work with children with autism. I have cared for a young adult with ASD intermittently for the past 5 years, as well as having a brother on the spectrum. I am a licensed emergency medical technician (EMT), and am CPR certified. I worked as a CNA in a skilled nursing facility for 2 years, and have worked in the ER for 1 year. I have a BS in biomedical sciences, and plan to attend medical school. I am great with pets of all shapes and sizes! Finding fun and creative ways to teach individuals and aid in their physical as well as intellectual development is very important to me.
