About Samantha

I'd describe my personality as fun, confident and empathetic. I enjoy caring for seniors because it's something I grew up with. Knowing myself and the quality of care I'm capable of providing, it feels like a duty to me. I'm looking for a job that offers me the option of a non-traditional schedule while doing work that is important and impactful. My mother is a nurse manager in nursing homes, and I grew up going to work with her and volunteering with the recreation departments. In my early 20s I obtained my CNA license, working both in home care and assisted living with a focus on dementia care. I also spent a year caring for my own grandmother who suffered from dementia. In my spare time, I love traveling the world with my husband, attending sporting events and eating great food! One thing you should know about me is I am a reliable person who genuinely cares about the health and safety of others. My skills include dementia care/redirecting, companionship, personal care.
