I love tutoring! Seeing the ah ha! moment in someone's eyes is priceless. I specialize in English, but also do math and science. I prefer to have one on one sessions with the student. I have two main rules for tutoring. One, there are no dumb questions! Two, please interrupt me if I don't make sense! I want the student to be comfortable and feel safe enough to ask me questions that they would avoid asking in class. I have over 10 years of tutoring experience, mainly with elementary and middle school children. I volunteered in the public school system and helped students fill their gaps so they could perform better.
