Hi there! My name is Samantha and I am 26 years old. I live in Stoughton with my husband and 2 cats. I have 6+ years experience working in a group center daycare. Out of high school I worked as a float/assistant, and eventually a lead infant teacher at Gingerbread House Daycare in McFarland. After 3 years I switched to Woods Hollow Children's Center in Fitchburg, where I started as a float and made my way to an infant lead again. I stayed there for 4 years while I completed my infant toddler credential through UW Platteville as well as all classes required to work in a group center. I am comfortable working with up to 4 infants/toddlers at a time. I am comfortable with older kids too, but my experience and passion lies with the littles! References can be provided. I am looking for something full time, no weekends or nights. Something to be aware of is that I will be starting family planning of my own hopefully in the next 2-3 years. I have not had a covid vaccine since 2022.

WE LOVE SAM!!!! E., especially...to the point that E., (now 11 months) got excited when we saw Sam at a craft fair a few weeks ago. She also squeals with delight when Sam comes to babysit. We met Sam at Gingerbread when she took care of E. from 12weeks-~9months. We loved her so much we hired her as our only babysitter. Sam is so gentle and calm, and we can tell she really loves the kids! I was picking E. up one day and Sam was trying to get a baby to sleep. She stood, so patiently, by the crib, caressing and making sure the baby felt comfortable. It was so sweet. The first time she came to babysit, our dog ran to her and sat at her feet, as if she were his owner! He just immediately liked her. (He is 85 lbs :)) We put all of our trust/faith in Sam. Our little one was on a serious medicine for a while, which Sam administered everyday at daycare and then in the evenings when she babysat. We never worried and always get a thorough report from her!
