About Samantha

I am an experienced nanny and absolutely love working with kids! Growing up in a big family, I was always the babysitter for my siblings and cousins. I was the neighborhood babysitter as well, caring for children from the stages of infancy (3wks old) to the after school stage (12yrs old). When I entered into college, I got a job as a teacher at a preschool program in Scarborough, and began teaching primarily in the infant and toddler classrooms. I covered many shifts for the after school class (5+yrs old) and always had a blast playing soccer and building fairy houses with the kids on the playground. The last four years of my work experience have been primarily focused in Special Education, early childhood development, and Behavior Education, working with children from the ages of 3 to 10 years old, both in public and private school settings here in Maine. Creative and educational care has always been my strong suit, and music and art are always infused in the care I provide.
