About Samantha

I'd describe my personality as thoughtful, calm, and caring. I like working with kids because they are beginning their journey of life and it's a beautiful gift to witness and be part of their development. I'm looking for a job that is mutually appreciated, uplifting and positive . I started working with kids when I was 15, babysitting for younger children (3/4/5). My mother ran a nursery school and I often would babysit the children when parents went on dates. In my spare time, I like to take hikes with my almost 7-year-old daughter and my partner. As well as practice yoga. One thing you should know about me is I am a trained Waldorf Early Childhood teacher, and I also received my Masters in Elementary Education. Being with children has been a lifelong passion. My skills include anticipating what may be helpful for the child (water, food, some quiet time or outdoor movement). I also love to cook and be outdoors.
