I'd describe my personality as compassionate, hardworking & reliable. I like caring for seniors because I have a passion for taking care of people. I've tried working other jobs but none of them were as fulfilling as providing care to the elderly. I know many seniors can feel isolated, lonely, or confused. I'm looking for a job that fulfills me. One that I can stay at for a while. I started caring for seniors when I was 19 years old. It was my first job. In my spare time, I like to be out in nature. I enjoy exploring new places and working out. One thing you should know about me is I'm not just in this field for a paycheck. Over the last 10 years working in nursing homes, I've met many caregivers who were just there to collect a paycheck. You could tell they had no passion for taking care of the elderly. I genuinely have a passion for helping people. My skills include Alzheimer's and dementia care, ADL's and companionship.
