About Samantha

As the oldest grandchild on both sides of my very large and loving family, I have been the go-to babysitter since I was a teenager. I have nannied for various families, for children ranging from a month old to school-aged children, over many summers and even long-term overseas, where I was a live-in nanny and teacher to a great family. While overseas for 5+ years, teaching and working with various NGOs, I learned intensive first-aid and other safety skills to use in emergencies. I appreciate the differences all people from different backgrounds bring and am always happy to learn something from new friends, especially children! They are the light of this world and make everything more palatable. For the next 6-8 months, my husband will be serving far from home and I am hoping to fill my time helping make families' lives a little less stressful by providing top-notch quality care for their children, pets, or other family members.
