I moved to Alaska from Iowa 30 years ago. I was lucky to work and volunteer for state parks. I love to be outside. I have experience caring for new born babies all the to way through hospice. I've also cared for people with dementia and cancer. When I was younger I spent almost 10 years working as a professional nanny . I like looking at the world thru a child's eyes and their reactions to something they experience for the first time. Like a twig. Reading out loud can be fun. I'm patient , attentive, and calm. I don't get irritated when a baby cries. I've been trained in infant and adult CPR. I also have been trained on an AED. I love animals. Grew up with horses and dogs. Have to have a cat . I enjoy being a caregiver. If I couldn't have been there for my mother, my grandma I would want someone taking good care of them .
