About Samantha

I love helping children grow into themselves and have lots of experience doing it! I have done childcare for 8 years and have ideas for all age groups. In high school, I babysat elementary age children on evenings and weekends. In college, I was a summer nanny for twins age 7. I took them on outings, cooked, and did light housekeeping. I continued to provide before and after school and weekend care on other college breaks. After college, I worked as a child educator in a national park, helping foster a sense of place and appreciation for nature in local kids, ages 4 and up. Then, I nannied for a toddler, providing meals, playtime, stories, music, and exercise almost every day. I also worked at a shelter for teenage girls and as an elementary school substitute teacher. I have experience working with children from diverse backgrounds and with varying needs. I love crafting, hiking, reading, and going on adventures. I would love to nurture these qualities and others in your children too.
