About Samantha

Over the past six years, I have worked in a variety of educational roles, ranging from teaching high school Economics to designing middle and high school curricula, to teaching English in gr4-6. I love working with students. It is my greatest passion to connect with each individual student, tailor lessons and content to their unique needs and interests, and create an environment where they can thrive. I am also a college advisor and private tutor, supporting students across all age groups and subject areas. As a college advisor, I guide students through every aspect of the college application process, from selecting schools to crafting compelling and authentic essays. I hold a degree in Economics from Cornell University and am currently pursuing a master's in Social Work at UCLA. My goal is to reimagine and improve school mental health models to better serve students. In my free time, I enjoy hiking, teaching yoga, painting, and creating pottery.
